Truls Mørk, cello. Mørk is one of the world's leading cellists with an extensive international career. He plays with the world's foremost conductors and orchestras. Mørk is an outstanding chamber musician with performances at the most prestigious chamber music festivals together with the foremost musicians in the genre. Mørk has received much praise for his profound interpretations of classical and contemporary music, both at concerts and on his album releases.

Håvard Gimse is a Norwegian classical pianist from Gimse is educated at the Norwegian Academy of Music, the Mozarteum in Salzburg and the Academy of Music in Berlin. He has received numerous awards, and since 1992 has released more than 30 CD recordings, on labels like NAIM, Naxos, Sony, Chandos and Simax. Håvard Gimse has played at the largest concert venues worldwide, and is considered one of Norway's foremost musicians and is employed at the Norwegian Academy of Music.

Lodestar Trio is a collaboration between the stars from the Scandinavian folk scene Erik Rydvall and Olav Mjelva, and the British violin virtuoso Max Baillie. Together they bring a spirit of groove and improvisation into the baroque, and connect music by Bach and other composers with a folk sound world, where the Swedish harp and the Norwegian harding fiddle meet the violin. Lodestar Trio debuted in London in April 2018 and has performed live on the BBC, on Norwegian radio, been featured by Classic Fm, and most recently shown at the 15th anniversary Folkbaltica Festival. Their debut Recording will be released during 2022.

Stian Carstensen is a Norwegian musician and composer. He is a multi-instrumentalist and plays accordion, guitar, banjo and flutes. He is a frontman and composer in Farmers Market. Stylistically, he combines a number of musical genres from jazz to Bulgarian folk music. He has performed at a number of major festivals nationally and internationally, has behind him a number of CD releases, and is known for his creative and free approach to music. He combines classical art music with improvisation, Balkan folk music and bluegrass.

Sverre Indris Joner is a Norwegian pianist, composer and arranger who has been strongly involved in Latin American music, primarily tango and salsa. As leader of several groups, he has cultivated this music at a high level, but has also created cross-genre music where Latin American music meets classical works, Norwegian popular music and folk music. |
The Vertavo Quartet is a Norwegian string quartet, founded in 1984. The quartet has played in concert halls and at festivals in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the USA. The quartet has received a number of awards, recorded 6 solo albums and participated in more than 50 albums with other artists. Among the artists they have collaborated with are a-ha, Anne Grete Preus, Hot Club de Norvége, Jon Larsen, Maj Britt Andersen, Knut Værnes, Krøyt and accordionist Per Arne Glorvigen. Britt-Synnøve Johansen started her career at the age of 7 in a choir. She continued to sing, and in 1987 she participated in Talent’87 which she won the national final. As a 19-year-old, she won the Melodi Grand Prix in 1989 with the song "Friends' Closeness".
She continued to sing and perform locally, where she has also been associated with Haugesund and Rogaland Theater. At Rogaland Theater, she has, among other things, had the role of Sergeant Petra in The Kid by Oskar Braaten, and she played several roles in Schrooge - a Christmas story. In 2001, she translated some of Edith Piaf's lyrics into Karmøy dialect and embarked on a tour with her own Piaf cabaret. The cabaret was watched by a total of about 15,000 people. |
Bragernes Church's Soloist Ensemble currently consists of 12 professional singers. Members are: Jorun Hermansen, Julia Gusek, Hannah Pold, Ingeborg Soot, Sunniva Fevang, Beate Strømme Fevang, Ole Strøm, Helge Harila, Tor Kessel, Marcus Doni, Kjartan Hverven and Vidar Helkås. The choir sings at larger productions during the year. The conductor is Jørn Fevang.

Cecilie Schilling, singer, actress and belly talker. Education from the Norwegian Academy of Music, University of Theater, Opera and Musical at the University of Gothenburg. Humn has extensive concert experience, but has also written and performed musical theater for children, as well as participated in productions, among others. at Teater Ibsen in Skien, Norwegian Chamber Opera in Oslo m.m. For the 4th year in a row, Cecilie also plays the role of Anna Jacobine Toft in the Svelvik play "The good intention".

John Lidal has a degree from the Conservatory of Music in Trondheim, the Norwegian Academy of Music, the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London and the Manhattan School of Music, New York. He has coached key roles for productions at The Metropolitan Opera, New York City, San Francisco and Santa Fe Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Deutsche Oper Berlin and Opéra Bastille, Paris.
Lidal is currently engaged at the Norwegian Opera & Ballet in Oslo. He has been associated with the faculty at the Manhattan School of Music since 2001. |
